Incident: NGTL North Corridor Project – Serious Injury – Sept 1/22 – UPDATE #1

The CER has issued an Inspection Officer Order to NGTL after a worker was seriously injured unloading a truck at a worksite. The Order required the company to stop unloading pipe across the North Corridor Expansion Project.

We have reviewed the company’s action plan and determined it is safe to resume unloading pipe at North Corridor Expansion Project worksites. NGTL is required to send us monthly updates to ensure the safety of all workers unloading pipe.

Safety is always our top priority, including all workers and contractors on-site.
