Enbridge Southern Lights GP Inc., on behalf of Enbridge Southern Lights LP – Line 13 Expansion
Project Summary
Enbridge Southern Lights GP Inc., on behalf of Enbridge Southern Lights LP (Enbridge) has filed a project application for the Line 13 Expansion Project. The purpose of the Project is to increase the annual average capacity on Line 13 by approximately ten percent (10%) to approximately 198 KBPD to meet increased customer demand for diluent on Line 13. The proposed project involves conducting minor terminal and station modifications at Edmonton Terminal, St. Leon Pump Station, Kerrobert Terminal, Regina Terminal, and Odessa Station (the Facilities). There will be no increase to the maximum operating pressure for any of the Facilities. The Project will occur entirely within the boundary of the existing Enbridge Facilities on land that is privately owned or controlled by Enbridge. Given the scope and scale of the work associated with the Project, Enbridge has determined that the Project will not impact exercising of Indigenous or Treaty Rights, nor would it have any impacts on nearby landowners, businesses, municipalities, or other stakeholders.
Project construction is planned to commence in April 2025, with an expected project-in-service date in July 2025.
