Administrative Update to Operations and Maintenance Guidance for Companies

There is a new administrative update to our latest Operations and Maintenance Guidance.

To clarify, companies must notify us when conducting routine maintenance activities on their operating facilities for activities that result in a ground disturbance on any identified reserve lands, land claim settlement lands or Métis settlement lands.

Our guidance document has been updated and is now available.

We are always working to improve the clarity and content of our regulatory guidance to encourage compliance with our Act and regulations.
